Growing Trees for Shade

If you are trying to plant trees to shade your garden, you probably want something that grows very fast and provides plenty of shade. With the many types of trees available, you will have no trouble finding a variety that will grow very rapidly and provide any shade that your garden needs to survive. There are many things you can do to speed up the growth of trees.

In general, trees are separated into two categories: long-lived and short-lived. If they are only temporary in search of a bit of shade for your garden, you must stick to a short-lived tree. But if the maintenance plan that over the years, going from a long-lived tree. If you decide on a plant short-term, probably looking for something with rapid growth. This means that the root system will be particularly aggressive, so be sure not to place it near septic tanks or other plants deep roots. If the roots have plenty of room to grow, then shoot out extremely fast and its takeoff in tree growth. Their placement should be based on the relative position of the tree from the area in which they are wanting shade. You must keep to the western or southern parts for maximum shading.

Preparing the ground in the shade of the trees can be the best way to speed up plant growth. The biggest hole to dig the root ball, the better. Also when you dig hole in the ground, which should work more carefully before replacing it. This will allow the roots penetrate through the ground better. If you mix in all its fertilizer and nutrients to the soil before replacing it, the end result will be higher with a tree. Also try using organic material as mulch. Bark or twigs and branches work well for this, and will encourage the rapid growth.

When you buy your shade tree, which usually come with the root ball and balled in a jute bag. It could also be grown in a container or simply with bare roots. If you get a tree in a jute bag, it must be planted anywhere between autumn and early spring. The trees are grown in containers ok to plant almost any time of year. If the tree has only bare roots, then is the ideal time to plant at any time during the winter and early spring. If you buy a tree that has grown in a container, make sure the roots are not limited by the container. Usually, because of the roots to go by subway after the circles of the plant. After purchasing the tree and plants before you, be sure to add constant moisture.

The ideal planting process would include putting it in the ground to the proper depth, and replace the soil without compressing too. Immediately after planting, must give the tree its first irrigation before putting the mulch layer. Always use organic mulch, and have a 2 or 3 inches in the same layer at the base of your tree.

Always use nitrogen fertilizers in the first segment of the life of a tree. Just follow the instructions on the label to find out the exact amount of the application and when to apply. Never apply too much fertilizer while the tree is young. You should usually wait until that has been established for about a year. The fertilizer added that he does must be sufficiently softened.
If you are trying to grow a tree quickly, there are many other things that you have to consider. However, with proper planning can create the perfect environment for the tree to the right until spring, and will give you much shade within months.
